What if...

What if I move the pawn 2 one square forward and I keep moving it to the right right right and then to the left left and so on. I mean that I move only this pawn along the same column waiting for my opponent. Is it legal move?
Some questions :
- why 4 squares (and not 1,2 or 3) between the first black row and the first white row?
- why the sum needed to capture is equal to 10-11 and not 12?
- why starting the game with the pawn 1 facing the pawn 5 and not the 1 facing the one?

Yes it is a legal move. You

Yes it is a legal move. You can compare it to the horse in the game chess. You can also move the horse back and forward to the same spot over and over again.

- why 4 squares (and not 1,2 or 3) between the first black row and the first white row?
The 4 squares gives you just enough space to prepare your strategy. For example if you only want to attack with the high ones or with the high ones and the low ones, ...

- why the sum needed to capture is equal to 10-11 and not 12?
I chose 11 because the highest number is 10 and the lowest number is 1. This makes it harder for number 10 to attack because number can move free.
I also chose 10 so that the high numbers have more trouble to attack.

- why starting the game with the pawn 1 facing the pawn 5 and not the 1 facing the one?
If you turn it around number 1 is facing number 1 of your opponent. I didn't want that because then the number 1 can be eliminated to quick. Compare it to the tower in chess. The tower also can't move directly.

I hope I answered your questions.

Please use Drop.io

Hi there.

After clicking 6 time son "slower download", and entering captcha codes, I finally got the file, then got this for the second file:
You need to wait 720 seconds to start another download.

May I recommend using drop.io, it's free, quick, and does not require any of these tediousnesses. For 1GB files, you can use megaupload.com.

We'll take a look at your file later.
Also recommended: Adding the game to the BGG database.
