In the final hours of a game jam I was running, a conversation broke out between myself and two others about the smallest boardgame we could make. A single cell and a single counter was our starting point. Fortunately the nearest counter was an othello piece and over the remaining three hours we started to put the game together.

We have since made the rules available as print and play but would be grateful for any feedback you may have.

Funny and easy game. For

Funny and easy game.

For removing the tie breaker:
Why not I, I, I, II, IV?
I mean that the score is 1, 1, 1, 2, 4.
With dividing the first 3 points, you always get one even and one odd score.
Then by adding only even scores, there is no tie possible.
I, I, I, II, II is also possible.

Thanks for the feedback. We

Thanks for the feedback. We played a lot of different points distribution. We found that having the tie at the end, lead to exciting end games. Also the tie leads to interesting thought processes for the fourth round where the players would have to consider the colour on the bottom as well as the top.

Still we'll keep playtesting and see what the players think.
