Looking around I noticed that learningresources.com has a set of 48 - 1 inch pawns (8 pawns per color, 6 colors). Price $2.49!!!

Not sure what shipping would be, but $2.49 for 48 pawns seems like a deal. Seems like they also have various color spinners fairly cheap too...

Two great links! Thank you

Two great links! Thank you for the tips. I especially liked the token thread – it gave me new ideas for a game (using tokens that change value and behavior according to a "programmed" stack of chips inside of them).

Rolco Games

Rolco Games is now selling pawns retail via their web site. Not sure what the prices are, but the site is at:

www.rolcogames.com

We use lots of their parts in our games. Among other things, you can be sure that they meet the new CPSIA requirements for sale in the US.
