I am trying to develop a game that uses many different colors of chess pieces. More companies are making pieces of different colors, but I need some runs of sets with custom colors. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Painted or Cast?

Hi PiGuy

Would it be possible to use wooden pieces and paint them according to your needs or were you picturing a molded piece with different colors (like dice for example).

The simplest solution would

The simplest solution would be to buy some white wood stock chess pieces and some wood dye in various colours (available almost everywhere).

Then you simply get a bucket, add the dye, drop the pieces into it and leave overnight.

Plastic

I am looking specifically for plastic pieces to capture the array of colors I wish for the game. I have purchased traditional sets in the past and painted them. You can see the results at sovereignchess.com

Thanks for your help,

Mark
