I built a web tool for making custom Cards Against Humanity prototypes, would love feedback from designers

A few years ago I started making custom party-card decks for friends’ birthdays and bachelor parties. The process was fun, but too slow: shared spreadsheet, lots of inside jokes, then hours of layout work in Illustrator just to get printable cards.

That eventually turned into a small web app I called MakeMyCards.

The idea is simple: create a custom deck, invite friends to collaborate, add prompt/answer cards, then export it as a printable PDF. I recently added an optional printed physical deck too, but the part I’d really love feedback on from this community is the prototyping workflow.

A few specific questions:

  • Is the card creation flow clear enough?
  • Would this be useful for quick party-game/card-game prototyping?
  • Is the export/print-at-home side flexible enough?
  • Anything missing that tabletop designers would expect from a card prototyping tool?

There’s also an optional AI helper for generating card ideas. I know AI can be hit or miss creatively, so I’d be curious how useful or annoying that feels from a designer’s perspective.

I’m the maker, so full disclosure there. Not trying to do a hard sell. I’m mainly looking for feedback from people who prototype card games.

I shared the link

I shared the link, with someone who used to play this game a lot with his friends.
Let's see if he is interested.
