I am developing a game and I need a cool name for it.

Here is a brief summary of the game:

Players are owners of computer game development companies, who run their companies from the heroic age of computers to modern computer games, through four ages. They implement various projects (the greatest computer games of all times, from Tetris and Pac Man to modern VR games) and strive to make as much profit as possible. Game developers and specialists are hired, developed, and even accompanied until retirement. In the meantime, many events help or hinder players' plans, and they also have to deal with the machinations of rival companies. Will you be the one who will prevail?

So, please help me to find a name that "sells" the game.
Thanks in advance.

This reminds me of...

This reminds me of Game Dev Tycoon which happens to be the videogame with the best anti-piracy mechanism ever devised.

As for a name, the only thing I can think of is "Killer App"

Something to think about...

This is all that I have (as of right now): "Making IT Big!"

With a HUGE I and T, on top "Making" and the bottom "Big!"... I'm going more for the effect of the LOGO and name which could be the focal point of the game.

So it's not just a NAME, there is LOGO and presentation format to follow.

Best of luck(!?) with the other contributions!

Logo idea

You could try to base "Making IT Big!" on the ESRB logo, but I'm not sure how exciting that would look since the original is in black and white:

more names

Thank tou for your suggestions.

Killer App -> the game is not very "killer", this name promises more than the game gives.
Make IT big -> I like it, with the logo idea too.

Here are some of my ideas:

IT wars -> a too much "fighting" name, but the word war probably sells a game.

Greatest Games -> this fairly describes what is the game about. Is this name interesting enough to lure people to try it?

Maybe "Techwars" is better (don't know if the name is being used already). OR "Technowars" another variant.

For "Greatest Games", I would propose: "Great Gaming Co." That's my spin on your suggestions.

These two (2) are also good TBH. It's just a matter of preference.

"Making IT Big!" with the ESRB Gaming Rating Logo would be cool. @FrankM always gives great suggestions and shares good ideas very frequently.

We'll see IF anyone else has some Game Naming suggestions. Cheers!

Hah ... Good Times!

This reminds me of when "300" came out, I was dating this really HOT Chick! We went to see "300" together and I was shocked how GREAT the movie was. My earlier ex-girlfriend we used to go to movies... But they were always CRAP! Hehehe. I guess the physical stuff was just better than watching movies. Haha.

And if you're wondering about that HOT Chick... We stopped seeing each other. I'm more of an introverted person and she was more the social butterfly. I'd go to a movie, out for supper, have a coffee together, take a walk, etc. She was more about partying and going dancing and such.

We were just two (2) different people so it didn't work out.

But "300" was AWESOME!!! But I must have seen an alternate ending. Because when I remembered that movie the Hero defeats the bad guys and comes home. The end now seems to be he dies and someone else returns in his place... Weird, eh? I know!

You could have

Someone screaming that way, but then in a nice suit. And pointing at a whiteboard with programming stuff or something.

This is IT!

Although, IT stands for information technology.

Is this IT?

Good point: IT sounds closer to serious software than games... but it's pretty much all of computer hardware and software and you can use it how you want.

I seem to recall some association with a scary clown, too :)

But the worst, and thankfully forgotten, use was IT as the codename for a revolutionary new vehicle that was going to restructure transportation and overturn everything we knew about urban planning. IT turned out to be the Segway.
