Hello I'm new to this forums.

Yes like the title says.

I have 4 boardgames very unique one of them is basically finished.

What I wanted to know is... how safe is this forum in the subject of copyrights? by that I mean do you people just post your work without copy rights? or do most of you do it because you already have copy rights?

Do I need a patent or provitional patent to be able to participate in the Chitag competition?

I was wandering when the next "copyright" first post would appear (the "underground designer"). It generally does about once a month. It is one of the two classic first posts, the other being the "here is my game" type (the "prima donna designer").

Short answer: it's safe, at your own risk, but it's safe.

Long answer: read the last 10 post about this subject discussed in the last 10 months :)

There is a Chitag post somewhere here, have you checked it?

Same copywright laws aply

Same copywright laws aply here as in the rest of the world. And as in the rest of the world you can not protect youre self from people who ar willing to break the law. But I would say that it is a very slim chance of that hapening here...

Welcome to the BGDF!

Along the top edge of the screen, there's a link that says, "Getting Started..."

The Getting Started screen has a link that says, "Copyright & Patents"

The Copyright & Patents page is a good place to start.
