I'll do my best to make it a success! You've been helpful in broadening the appeal, I think.

Yeah, focusing on using the game to teach children the Bible, like that's the only way it can be used is like saying Ticket to Ride can only be used to teach people geography.

I'll probably still keep the second review on the page because they do have some nice things to say about the game, and the more reviews on the page the better, but I do wish they hadn't a broader idea of who might enjoy the game.

BTW, I've believe I've fixed the number of cards in that one section. Good catch!

At the start of his review he tells everyone he is the Son of a Pastor. And how critical and reticent he is about "Bible" natured games. Again I wish he had not focused on that ... especially when I watched his entire review to only expect him to say: "He enjoyed the game" as the very last things he says in the video. The whole build-up until the very end.

Would have been "nicer" had he said that UP-FRONT, near the START of the video review. And say: "I enjoyed the game and here is why..."

Because he goes in the opposite direction and says that normally Christian material for entertainment is TERRIBLE... Gives a false impression that the game might follow that trend... Again you have to watch the ENTIRE video for the last 20 seconds where he says the game is good...

What about 98 vs 96???

BTW in the first paragraph is says:

"Players will score points by experiencing biblical events."

Would re-write that too as:

"Players will score points by experiencing historical events."

I'm not saying "Biblical" is bad; just saying the wording can be less religious and more game-oriented. BTW like the new TITLE: "the historical time travel game"... Very nice!

Just tweak out the details that are too religious and focus on experience, history and ancient times. Again no worries, just trying to help out!

Note: And if they reach the part about "Winning the Game" where it talks about experiencing three (3) New Testament events, well I'm sure the reader will probably be a "backer" at that point in time... So that should be okay too.

Yeah, that's why I highlighted the quote where he gives his final thoughts, so people would hopefully see that he really liked it even before they watch the review.

Yeah, I must have missed 2 cards because I know there's 108 cards total and 10 are bonus cards. Maybe I'll create 14 rows of 7 cards or 7 rows of 14 cards.

Thanks again!

Okay - Thumbs Up!

Here's hoping the game will reach it's goal and more... I watched the video again and could not "escape" the "Biblical"-nature of the game. I'm not saying to edit the video - it's probably too late (Voice over - is hard to edit and fix stuff like that).

The KS page looks great. And I really think the video is WELL DONE... Except for "Biblical Events" and "Bible Themed Game". Oh well... nothing is perfect and you may convince some people to buy it based on what is on the page.

I'm not saying the "Quotes" are not important. Just wished they would have done the reviews a bit differently.

I probably should revisit the video and make a few tweaks. I’m pretty sure I could do it before the launch.

I'm actually interested in the distribution side of things...

What are your plans for "distribution" afterwards (if successful KS)??

Maybe we can chat about that ... obviously pending a successful KS. Distributors don't like dealing with "one-game" shops. They prefer dealing with people who have a "catalog" of games ... and they'll order multiple copies of several games and stock them while they sell to FLGSs.

Anyways something to consider - first you need your KS to fund. Then we can talk!

Hmm... I'm really hoping that your KS does well!

Only a few more days before YOU "Launch". Our IGG campaign is set for 14 November too... For us there is a lot less "pressure" - because on IGG you can have "flexible" goal funding - which means you earn every dollar and backer.

We're using it to promote our game in the Top 20 Most Anticipated games of 2018. It's a competition ran on Board Game Geek (BGG). We've got over 100+ Fans and a pool of 900+ backers. So we are definitely HOPING to make it in that list this year.

Last year we got 175+ Nominations - but going through a 2nd round of Voting was just TOO MUCH. This year with the IGG and Fans of the game, we hope to have a smoother run and hopefully make the Top 20... But it's getting more and more difficult to make it. So we're happy to TRY and see where we land up.

Cheers.

Much appreciated!

Tell me is there JUST one (1) more day before LAUNCH??? It is, right! You must be really anticipating DAY #1. And seeing how all that hard work on the KS campaign will come together.

Let's get-er-done!

Yes, you are correct. The game launches on Kickstarter tomorrow! Hard to believe I'm saying that, but it is true. :-)

Thank you so much for your support and huge help with this. You've been tremendous!

Postponing launch date

Unfortunately a major issue happened with shipping where Kickstarter was charging USA backers $15 for shipping. Some people had already backed the project so in order to fix the issue I'm required to cancel the Kickstarter campaign. It will relaunch next Tuesday.

Aw shucks...

Got around to computer activities only around 2:00 PM and noticed that your campaign had been "Cancelled". I worked backwards from KS to BGDF and now understand WHY you "Cancelled" it (US Shipping issue).

But I understand, you want to launch on a better day too (Tuesday). And hopefully the backers you already got will return on Tuesday to re-pledge.

Let's see!

Trying to stay positive.

Trying to stay positive. Hopefully Tuesday will work out better anyway. It's unfortunate it happened, but people have been very supportive and patient about the delay.
