Hi, all!
I'd like to publish a travel version of GO (13x13), and I'm looking for a good source of GO stones. They must be light, 1,5cm diameter max, and cheap.
Can you help me?
Thank you,
Néstor

. . . a version of Go published by "Fundex Games" that comes with plastic pieces about 1 cm in diameter. If all else fails, ask them?
Heh.
:)
Nestor,
Travis Worthington uses http://caseyswood.com/ for a lot of his pieces, which he dyes himself and they turn out pretty damn nice. I'm not sure that getting 170+ pieces would be cost-economical here, but it might at least be a start.
EDIT: Also, they are wooden pieces, so I figure that you might not be interested...although they are fairly light.
The subject says it all:
A specific page: (Note that there are 23 colors to choose from at $5.24 per 100 or $39.30 per 1,000)

One pound of stones for $15.53:

Yes, they are not Go stones. However, they could be useful to someone, right?
Cool!!!
Thank you!

I can mold game part samples and make any quantity you'de like at a reasonable cost. Just email me at gto@iowatelecom.net with the subject line "Need Game Parts".

Dimensions : 12 x 17mm
Weight : 1.2gms
Colors : Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Purple, White, Black and maybe Gold, Silver, Brown, Pink
$80.00 for 1000 pieces at http://www.plasticsforgames.co.uk/us/us_prod_playpiece.asp
Sure that might be way too many pieces, but I think you might be able to get smaller quantities if you ask really nicely. That or see if others need something like this and go in on an order together.
Or better yet, get yourself a big bag or two of M&M and use two colors to make your pieces!

Yes, I love that dome. But it's big ans heavy ;-(
I hope I can use it in a game soon.
Thank you!
