Submitting to Spiel des Jahres

I work for a small start-up game company located in Atlanta. We've already manufactured 5,000 games which are selling extremely well from our website and the local Atlanta stores as we talk to national distributors to increase our distribution network. We're also trying to submit the game to be reviewed for awards. I've searched everywhere and can't seem to find how to submit a game for Spiel des Jahres. I've been to the website and still cannot find a contact or other information.

I'm not sure if this is the right forum category for this but any help on the submission process and/or finding distributors would be greatly appreciated.

Origins Awards

There is always the Origins Awards

to late to get in it for 2009 but there is alaways 2010.

This could also get your game into the road show with it being shown off at shows in the US.

That's very helpful Dalius. Any other award programs that people know of that games can/should be submitted to participate in?

I'm not sure there's a submission process... But in any case, the game has to be available in the German language and in German stores, to be eligible, IIRC.

Even though they've already released the list for 2009, you can always submit your game to Games Magazine to be included in the Games 100 list.

edit: oh, well. Just realized that you can´t send a game unless it´s been published in Germany. I guess they should change the name to Spiel des Jahres auf Germany
