Two asides to take into

Two asides to take into consideration...
Hasbro: Hasbro doesn't deal with game designers but rather game agents.
Self-Publish: You will be paying out money in order to it to be produced.

If Hasbro will look...

I would say that if Hasbro will take a look, then by all means you should definitely have them take a look. If they decide to pick it up, you are golden.

Although, they are a corporate giant, which tends to breed bureaucracy and get in the way of being scrupulous. I know, I am also a financial advisor and I worked for a great regional brokerage called A.G. Edwards, which then got bought by Wachovia, and now Wells Fargo. It is a world of difference as a cog in the giant corporation. If you send it in to Hasbro, just make sure you are protected.

Well if it was by email you

Well if it was by email you can tell

Devingetshimgamepublished@hasbro.com is US

Devingetshimgamepublished@hasbro.co.uk is Europe

If you are able to get either to look at your game without a middleman you pulled off quite a trick.

Hmmm

Hmmm

Is this real email?
Simpson above said Hasbro only deal with agents.
Many big companies only develop inhouse or pick up deals at Toy fairs

Why not send it to all of

Why not send it to all of them? If one is interested they'll tell you, and then you can withdraw it from others' consideration (or better yet, try to get them interested because their competitor is!).

Just a thought guys...

What if we used the networking we had here to like, well, help publish games that maybe win the little contests on this site?? It may seem like much, but that is the power of networking, I mean, if we were to pool a few like minded guys together, who knows?!
Any thoughts about this??
I know it means putting money out.... But if we put the effort in and the game is solid, well, what's really stopping us? anyway...

Some of us do network here

Some of us do network here already. Its not on a communal basis cause frankly that would be a non-paying logistical nightmare. Any tangible product that we made would be shared IP which I doubt that any publisher would want to purchase print rights of.
