These look pretty neat... I have a WIP that would be vastly improved by a generic "badge." I'm wondering if there's any way to work a pocket clip into a badge design. It would probably need to be designed face-down to maintain its integrity during printing, meaning recessed letters rather than embossed ones.

We don't think there's going to be a pocket clip in the design since that would cause it to sit funny on the table. You'd probably need to work with a 3D modeler to make your own 3d printed design for that or you could just tape/glue a paperclip on the back of ours for ease of use. :)
