Hey everyone, I'm new here to the forum and I've just started selling my game DUIthegame at DUIthegame.com. There's nothing else like this out there and would like to see what everyone thinks.

Thanks to Zzzzz for his tutorial on building a game board. Can't begin to explain how valuable that was to us.

Any input and thoughts are greatly appreciated!

FYI...

Very clean site. Two things I noticed:

1) The "Miscellaneous" link on the "How To Play" page does not work.
2) The last two pictures in the "Pictures" do not load properly for me (that may just be my problem).

$20 is inexpensive. Are you hand-assembling it? If so, are you charging enough for your time and labor? I wish you the best of luck!

Hey sorry for the delay on

Hey sorry for the delay on the responses.

The board is water proof. Basically we built our board just like other board games, but then laminated over top of the entire board. We've played a lot with friends and have spilled a LOT of drinks on one of the boards lol. But it's stood up to the test!

Thank you for the feedback

Thank you for the feedback InvisibleJon.

The Miscellaneous link is not currently active, we originally had put that there, but now are not sure what exactly we intended to place there. I should probably remove that button all together.

And I have received a couple comments on those last two pics. I have a feeling the upload was interrupted when I was putting them on the server. I'll have to re upload those photos.

We are hand assembling these right now. And to be honest, we've got it down pretty well now where we can get quite a few games done in a short period of time. Currently however there are only 2 of us making these. So it could go faster. Our reason for keeping the price at $20 is exactly as you said, it's inexpensive. Which hopefully will draw in more sales. $20 still allows us to have a good profit margin, but is not too high to send people the other way. Atleast that's our hope!

Again, thank you for the feedback. I'll get on fixing the site this week.

Hmm I'm not sure why this is. It could be you don't have the most recent version of Flash installed. We built it for Flash Player 10. I'm hoping to get a simplified html version up as well. But right now we're trying to figure out our packaging.

Anyone have any advice on where to find cheap short run custom boxes? I've had no luck so far and it's holding us back from approaching local liquor stores etc.

If you feel compelled to find out, you can go to:
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/

It will tell you what you have installed and what version.
