Hi fellow board game designers,

We are Chris, Charlie and Lucas and we just created our first board game, Hermetica! After a lot of work, we have put together a website for playing our new board game online, which would be a great opportunity for y’all to play a new abstract strategy game and provide any feedback you can.

So having said that, please check us out at www.hermeticathegame.com to play for free right now! You can read the full set of rules, and subscribe to our mailing list for opportunities on a early bird special for our upcoming Kickstarter campaign. We will also be publishing some gameplay puzzles regularly so please follow us on twitter too! @hermeticathegame

Hermetica is a 2-player, abstract strategy board game where players must use tactical movement with four unique units to outwit their opponent on a board that is dynamically created each game. A player wins when their Adept (King) moves onto a hex in the opponent's Horizon (base). To do so, each player has three actions to use per turn, enabling a wide variety of strategies, combos and play styles. One action can be moving a Unit or Two actions can be placing a new Unit on the board.

We are really excited to be sharing this game with the community and we are looking forward to any feedback we may receive!

Fixed the URL

Please ensure that the HREF has the "http://" before the www website address. Also I added a TARGET="_blank" to allow for the link to open up a NEW tab on your cellular or browser.

So now that all is fixed -- feel free to have a look!

Cheers...

Thanks!

Awesome, I appreciate you putting in that fix. Probably should have thought of such things seeing as I'm supposed to be a web dev...

No problemo...

As the forum's Moderator -- my purpose is to facilitate things like this... And if you are a "web dev" as you call it, it doesn't mean you know the particularities of this website or Drupal (forum software). It's a particularity of the website to link to a LOCAL webpage if the "http://" is not specified...

Just an issue with how the Drupal website works. You could be the "World's Best Web Developer" and still not know this tid-bit specific about how the website works internally.

Don't sweat it! Cheers...
