Well, I don't know where to post this one.
I will be in Essen Spiel from Friday (morning) until Sunday.
While not tied-up in a useless appointment with publishers, probably I will be hanging around Scribabs booth (9-47, I think) or looking for cool games to buy.
It would be great to meet other "BGDForumers" there.

AuthorsHall is free or must be "reserved" someway (and I think it's late now).

It's definitely not free as i had to pay 188 to get my space. i assume the public can visit the authorshall and see the inventor's games?

188 dollars just for the space?
It's a lot of money IMHO, considering that you also pay for prototypes materials and travel and so on.
Well, I fear that a big fair like Essen is made to make money from everything :)
From my personal point of view, it may be worth the price if major publishers send someone to look at prototypes, as I hate simple playtest in chaotic environments... but on the other side, is a great chance to show games to a HUGE amount of players of any kind! Anyway, good luck!
