Howdy everyone on BGDF, I'm Plunk and I'm finally ready to kick my game to the curb, time to put up or shut up.
My game, Evil Spares None, a cooperative sexy teen slasher horror game, has gone live on Kickstarter! Check out the video (spoiler alert: It's scary!), check out the rewards (game immersion that goes against all that's holy), and warn your friends! "Repeat to yourself, it's just a game"

Evil Spares None is a 2-4 player cooperative survival horror game that takes about 90 minutes to play. Live out a thrilling horror movie as your characters are stalked by an unstoppable masked psychopath. Evil Spares None is looking for supporters through Kickstarter so that we can get killer artwork, high quality materials, and a chance for contributors to join in the fun. See below for a description of the rewards!

Cool! I will probably back

Cool! I will probably back this (in September). Have you thought about how international shipping might add to the cost of sending out the physical stuff?

Your already on kickstarter?

You're already on kickstarter? How long have you been playtesting your game? Who did you go through to get all your copyrights and trademarks in order?

-Taffer, I am considering

-Taffer,

I am considering international shipping, from the start I'm not sure how much demand there is overseas and I am planning on negotiating cost on a case by case basis for Kickstarter donors. If there is significant demand I'll try to negotiate a better deal. Also, as things are now, I can't afford translations, but if the project goes through it will also be on my development pipeline.

-Team Gambit,

I've been developing the concept and core mechanics for 2 years, and have been playtesting it's final incarnation for the last year. The components are set in stone, I am just fine tuning some of the stickier rules. I can't patent anything in the game, but I am filing for a copyright on the artwork (with my artist) and a trademark for the name.

Thanks for the questions!

Oh ok awesome! You scared me

Oh ok awesome! You scared me I thought you were just rushing into this because your last post was only a month ago lol. Please keep me in the loop about your process through copyrighting and trademarking your game. I think everyone could really benefit from the knowledge.

Good luckto you and I hope you raise a lot with kickstarter.

Thanks!

Thanks!

If you check my post history I have a few when I first had a decent prototype, I've been ramping up activity only in the last month because it's do or die time.

The Kickstarter is at 25% funded after 3 days, so y'know, check it out before all the good rewards are gone! Haha

I think you should have the

I think you should have the expected shipping costs there with the rewards. Most kickstarters I've seen seem to have "(add $X for international shipping)" listed with each shippable reward. The case by case negotiation doesn't sound good. e.g. 25$ for the game sounds like a sweet deal, but what if the shipping costs end up being another $25? Might be a not so good surprise to a backer, and now he/she is also going to need to find another way to pay you that money (assuming you've planned to do the shipping negotiation after the Kickstarter succeeds, not before?).

[EDIT] Oops, I now noticed you mention shipping in an update. But perhaps still consider putting that info with the rewards, so it's clear that it should be added to the pledge.
