Hello everyone,

Just wanted to show this "different" TableTop Game called: "Baseball Shuffle":

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/42thXR3EUbs

It's a pretty long game with 9 Rounds (Innings) like normal Baseball... Just rolling and flicking dice around the "Area of Play" (Game Field).

I figured this would be something UNIQUE to SHARE and watch.

Take a look and tell me what you think!?

Cheers all.

But...

When do we drink?

Also, would be funny if we have something similar with soccer or something.

There are RESERVED areas for Beer Mugs in the Bleachers.

You can drink as you play. But obviously the more impaired you are, the less you are good at the "tactical play" which requires rolling dice. Also you may have a harder time remembering what you need to roll to make more points. Hehehe.

I've never seen anything like this. It is interesting none-the-less.

And it looks to be a BAR game too... Like Pool or Snooker!

I'm guessing that the table rotates and so forth... Spilling liquor or beer would be a detriment to the table itself. So I'm not sure if inebriated play is a good idea or not.

But I like the concept: a physical table reserved for playing Baseball in pubs.

Very original for sure. Not sure everyone manages to drink 18 rounds in 9 Innings (since it's a 2-Team sport). And you can have more than 4 players playing too...

Kudos to whomever designed it!

Cheers.

reminds me of tumbling dice

reminds me of tumbling dice but with probably different rules.

Tumbling dices was fun, but big. There was a smaller version, you could even play with smaller dices. In tumbling dice the section your die fall in multiplies the value of the die.

Tumblin' Dice is similar ... First I hear of that one too!

But yeah I get that in Tumblin' Dice the areas are "multiplier" the further you TRY to land your dice further away the greater the "multiplier". Took a look at it on BGG and yeah definitely cool too.

But this is a bit of a secret... I'm a bit of a baseball junkie. I wish I could watch more Baseball online (or via Bell). But I really like the game. My father who has since passed away used to play softball right in the park across from my parent's home. I always want to TRY... But my parent had me play soccer. Bah!

I would have preferred Baseball. But that's a bit the "Story of my Life"...

I never got to do what I wanted when I was younger. I wanted to play Piano... My parents bought me an accordion. The reason was the piano cost too much money. They could have bought me a GUITAR for Heaven's Sake ... And I'd probably play it to this VERY DAY! But no... They chose the accordion. We were polish and my dad played in a band with an accordionist too. I liked when I started to play classical pieces like La Fugue or Moonlight Sonata, etc. etc.

But I'd be playing Guitar TO THIS VERY DAY... Had my parents made a more COOL choice for me.

Anyhow... Like I said the "Story of my Life". Always making compromises, never doing what I wanted to really do, etc. etc. At least now I am doing what is good and cool by me these days. I'm just hoping that something sticks. TBD. Working on it.

But cool analogy to Tumblin' Dice. Kinda in the same vein!

Kudos @larienna for sharing and thanks for contributing to the conversation!

Monopoly and shots!

Reminds me of that one Monopoly game we played. And if we didn't want to pay, we would have to take a shot.

A player lost as soon as they didn't want to or couldn't even take the shot anymore.

We were younger in the distant past.

Sounds like something else...

What I mean is probably you take a SHOT until you pass out! Hahaha. So it's only a question of sobriety versus being able to stay aware about what is going on in the game. We all have the stupid memories about life as a teen. I personally had a party where everyone was going to get drunk and everyone was going to sleep in that home. Meaning nobody was walking home or driving home. Everyone was sleeping over.

Needless to say that I passed out and woke in the middle of the night laying on the bathroom floor. Hehehe. Yeah stupidity you only do once in your life.

I found a mattress late at night and fell asleep into the morning. I was okay after passing out and sleeping through to the morning. No headache or after effects of drinking too much Jack Daniels (straight shots). I had an entire bottle of Jack... Maybe shared some shots with a friend or a couple friends.

The bottom line is that we drank a lot that night. Like I said stupid things you do as a kid (or teen).

But yeah I've had my moments of shame too! Hah.

Note #1: I don't drink any more. Except for maybe a glass of wine with a Family meal like Thanksgiving, Birthdays or Christmas. Other than that I don't drink anymore. I don't really feel the need for alcohol either.

But I must admit a Rye & Ginger every now and then is a SMOOTH drink with a bit of a Kick and velvety refreshing taste. I don't indulge in that much. But if anyone asks me: "What are you drinking???" Rye & Ginger is my answer. Heh.

Note #2: Nowadays I drink a Cappuccino instead whenever I'm feeling like I want something bitter/sweet. I like flavored coffee grains. It's a company out of Toronto called "Coffin Creek". They are a Goth-like company who specialize in all kinds of Halloween Coffee Flavors. It's way better than Starbucks and Tim Hortons.

Plus I get to make it MY way: 2 espresso shots plus 1/2 cup of milk with some sugar to taste. I like it a bit sweeter and not bitter. The stronger the coffee and the more crema, so I like the first cup but usually drink 2 cups in one evening. The 2nd cup is sweeter since there is less crema and usually the 1st cup is neutral in taste (meaning I put less sugar). It's because of the stronger taste.

Like I said, IF I could combine espresso Shot #1 with espresso Shot #4. And then do espresso Shot #2 with espresso Shot #3 ... Would probably make 2 BALANCED cups of Cappuccino... But it doesn't work like that. So my first cup is STRONG and my second cup is SWEET.

Something like that!
