Seems like the spammers are only really hitting the blog entries.
Not sure if this info helps, or if it is obvious, but just something i noticed.

Sigh. I cleaned up the spam
Sigh. I cleaned up the spam and blocked the users. This time they hit the blogs, but I've also seen them spamming the forum and even the image comments. It's a waste of time for everyone.
