I've only come across this forum today and have been reading it with much interest.
I see there appears to be mixed reviews to say the least about how you feel about large manufacturers.
I happen to work for let's say a very large manufacturer of games, as a games designer.
I would like to contribute to this forum now and again if I am welcome!

Im assuming you didn’t mention your companies name on purpose so I won’t try to drag it out of you. Is design your only job there or do you wear multiple hats?
. . . I've read anything on here that is negative towards the idea of large companies in general. Of course it doesn't makes sense for most of the people here to try and deal with them professionally, but creatively the community here seems to welcome any ideas and input!

I'm glad that you're here! Every person on the site contributes something useful. Newbies and novices. printers and publishers (large and small), hobbyist and independent game designers... All of these people ask fascinating questions and provide important angles on what we discuss here. With your position in the industry, I look forward to seeing what you bring to the forum. I'm sure it'll only serve to enrich the quality of a community that's already diverse and nifty!

Probably the only problem you are going to run into is all of us wanting to submit our designs to your large company so we can be filthy rich like you! LOL.
Really, though this is a great community and we like to share and build each other up. Hope you feel welcome and contribute as much or more then you take away.
