Hi,

I just noticed that it is possible to Edit some of your own post in a message thread. HOWEVER I have also noticed that not all of your OWN posts can be edited (excluding the first message - if you were the initial author of the message).

In thread: http://www.bgdf.com/node/7372

I, QuestCCG, can edit post #1, #7 and #10. Yet I was also the author of posts #3 and #5. Those two posts I CANNOT edit.

Can someone explain why this is? I can edit some messages and not others...

Many thanks.

Noticing these minor problems

Noticed these minor errors for quite some time now. Thought it was something to do with the way the website was setup or something. Who knows.

I was hoping that the people running this forum might chime in with some answers...

What I have learned is that IF you post a REPLY or QUOTE to one of your messages, that message can no longer be edited. I do not know if the same goes with other parties (like you reply on another person's message - does it become un-editable?)

A test tonight has shown that if a person (you or other) posts a REPLY or QUOTE to a message, that message subsequently becomes UN-EDITABLE.
