Hi there. I'm a new face around here, and I wanted to say 'hi'.
About me, I have to admit that I'm not actually a game designer. I just love board games so much that I'm always thinking ways of reusing old games to play new ones. Right now, for instance, I'm "designing" an easy-to-learn-and-to-use battle system to apply to the regular chess game. The goal of that is to be able to use my chess set (which I love but which has fallen to disuse due to lack of regular opponents) to play with my wife (who does not, in fact, play chess). I was googling for something like this when I stumbled upon this site and thought "hey, perhaps I can get some advice in general and I can even do better stuff".
So, that's pretty much it. I hope I can learn from you guys and, perhaps, I may be of help for someone else in the future.
