Hey,
I'm obviously new here. I have had this idea for a board game floating around in my head for a while and Its fairly fleshed out up there but I'm not sure how to start getting it down on paper and actually start making it.
Its not a board game persay, its more a card game, but its less along the lines of a TCG or playing card game and more along the lines of a board game, if that makes sense. I should also note that it is MLP:FIM based.

I'd love to hear more about your game in the forums: how is it mixing the cards into the game? A friendship mechanic between the ponies for VP? A novel movement mechanic?
As for getting something down, I'd say the best thing to do is just DO it. Grab some index cards and some boxboard and mark them up. If you think of the early version as a working draft rather than expecting a shiny perfect version to spring out of your forehead Athena-style, it's a lot less stressful.

Shouldnt be suprised that you knew what mlp:fim was. I will go make a thread. I know this isn't exactly a traditional board game type of thing but I couldnt find any other place that seemed like it fit.
