Hi!

I'm a little-while-member, only-just-poster from sunny England.

I started inventing board games a few years ago to entertain my then six-year-old brother. Since I have finished a handful of games of which I am proud, and noted several other ideas of which are all stuck in prototype, or worse, have not seen it out of my notebook.

This is hobby for me, but one I like to come back to often.

I have started a thread in the New Game Ideas forum called "My ideas for games" where I have sketched a few ideas that I've become stuck with, and would love to hear what you think, even if it's no more than "Get on with it!"

First of all, it's not sunny here - the wind has blown all the trees down and all the drains are blcoked from rain! :P

second of all, welcome to bgdf man! Through sheer unjust British jingoism I think you are awesome!I love to see the Brit dudes get their game thang on :)

Cool that you started boardgames for your little bro - thats a very warm way to enter into boardgame design. hope to see a lot of you in the forum, heading over to your other thread now.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I hope to stay involved with this community as often as I can. Time is precious though!

I still play and design games with my brother. This week we spent four days (!) playtesting a combat system for one of my games. Lots of fun.
