Hello very impressive community here. I am new to the game design biz, as in im not in the biz at all just looking to turn a very detailed idea into an actual finished product. I always have questions springing up in my head during the process though and no way to answer them, but this forum is amazing I've already learned a lot. If anyone has any knowledge of the legal end of game design I would be interested in asking some specific questions. Can't wait to dive in!! Thanks all for being here.

by legal end I mean referencing other games or movies. Maybe like a Trivia stlye game, is it legal to reference other products in that sort of way? That is just one question that keeps popping up that I can't find an answer to.

When it comes to the law my advice is speak with a lawyer.

You could take the advice of a layperson but you wouldn’t know they were wrong until after you are served with the cease and desist letter.
