Antaire: Villages - What I have so far

Village

Players start with a Village and four plots (drawn from a deck of cards resulting in combination's of swamp, plains, forest, hills and mountains) Each of the different plot types generate a number of resources, except for swamp, which can not generate any form of resource.

The level of the village determines the base hand size the player may have, as well as how many plots may be harvested in a single turn. Village also generates peasants.

Plot Cards

Each plot card has one major resource and one or two minor resources that can be harvested from it. I have tried to keep the plot types and their resource types some what realistic.

  • Plains (Major: Food; Minor: Lumber)
  • Forest (Major: Lumber; Minor: Food)
  • Hills (Major: Stone; Minor: Ore, Lumber, Food)
  • Mountains (Major: Ore; Minor: Stone)

Buildings

At the moment there are two main types of buildings, Village buildings and unique buildings.

Village buildings are buildings that may be built by any village. These encompass:

  • Warehouse (level 1-3) - Increases players hand size
  • Blacksmith (level 1-3) - creates tools
  • Farms (Food productivity increase)
  • Mills (Lumber productivity increase)
  • Quarrys (Stone productivity increase)
  • Mines (Ore productivity increase)

Unique buildings come in two types, advanced resource generation and wonders:

  • Advanced Resource
    • Greenhouse (Generate plants - from food)
    • Factory (Generates wood - from lumber)
    • Mason Works (Generates Bricks - from stone)
    • Smelter (Generate Gold - from ore)
  • Wonders
    • Gardens (level 1-3)
    • Pyramid (level 1-3)
    • Edifice (level 1-3)
    • Temple (level 1-3)

Advanced Resources

  • Laborer (increases productivity of lumber or food)
  • Miner (increases productivity of store or ore)
  • Tools (used to create advanced structures/resources)
