Hello!
My name is Nate, and I like games. Any kind of game, though I lean toward games that are creative and have unique mechanics. Especially new games that break the mold.

I'm not super familiar with what goes where on the forums or blogs, so any advice there would be great.
I'm also not sure if here is the place to ask for this advice, but I don't know where else to put it...
Where would I put newest updates to my game(s) versus where do I put advice on those updates??

More about what i've been working on:
I was working on a project around this time last year, i'm not sure how involved I was; can't find the posts I did/didn't make here on BGDF.

The project dwindled when I found a very similar project as an online game. I suggest looking up Chess Evolved Online if you get the chance. It comes closish but close enough to my ideas that I dropped development.

Anyway, since then I've created two projects that i'm looking to put into the realm of development and any advice on those projects would be more than appreciated.

Thanks for all the support so far and I look forward to your input on my ideas and hope you appreciate my input for yours.

-Nate

Welcome!

For starting design posting, you have technically three routes to take: Blog, Journal, or Forum post (there are others but these are the most used). Blog is for personal discussions on an idea or for continual themed posts on particular subjects. Journal is for development of a game idea to allow people to discover the process of your design or ideas. Forum post is for unrelated topics that stir up conversation and ideas typically related to game design. This, of course, is my interpretation.

P.S. To find your past posts go to your profile and click the "Track" tab. This will show you everything you've posted essentially.

Looking forward to designs from you!

You're not alone!

Hey Nate!

I'm just trying to figure out this forum, blog, Facebook, inter-web thing as well! If I learn any good stuff, I'll let you know!

I'm looking forward to seeing what you have created!
