Hi everyone I’m currently learning programming and getting into the world of game developing.

I set to myself the goal of trying to make a League of legends card game in unity, I already came with a few ideas but I’m still talking with friends and researching in different places which would be the best way to proceed with this project.

I’m not really sure where is the place to post this but I’m looking for people who could help me, either by how could I put the “soul” of league into a card game if you know what league is about, how to make a card game that feels like a moba, any advice on the best way to develop a card game on unity, different mechanics that I should consider putting in the game, helping me find the right place to post this or Anything that you think could help me on this project.

I will be more than thankful with anyone with the will to help me, sorry if you find any mistakes here, not a native speaker.

Guards of Atlantis

Send a PM to "ElKobold", his name is Arty and he designed Warpgate and Guards of Atlantis (GOA). GOA is a MOBA-genre game which pits players in separate camps attacking each other across the board.

Here is the Kickstarter link:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/wolffdesigna/guards-of-atlantis-tab...

You'll notice that this game is described as being a MOBA-genre game which means that the game "inspires" itself from MOBA games but is not 100% a MOBA game in itself.

That's something to look at and get your eyes on what has already been DONE!

Thanks for that, I already

Thanks for that, I already look a little into it and I will keep this in mind, but I don't think this go in a close way to what I was thinking, I think i go away from the idea of making it look like a moba because it would be too complex, and I'm probably going to focus in one or too core aspects and try to make the game out of that

You are a wise man!

I must admit it's refreshing to "meet" someone who is REALISTIC about what he wants to design... Most ideas are just... ideas and designers don't make them a reality. It's good that you understand that there is too much complexity in a MOBA to "transform" into a Board or Card Game.

Nevertheless you are "smart" in thinking you can port some of the MOBA ideas and see what kind of design you can achieve while doing this.

Step #1: You are a realist... And I wish you the best of luck with your design. Please feel free to share your progress and ask questions about mechanics, artwork, crowdfunding, etc. Whatever your needs may be.

Cheers!
