I am trying to finish an old stock market game Idea that never made it. To add more flavor to the game, I was thinking that there could be regular shares and "special" shares which has certain properties.

I researched on the various share type that currently exists, and my share would be a mix between "Equity Shares" and "Preferred Shares".

But I want to give them a name of their own. In fact a name cool enough to brag other players that you own those cool shares and they don't.

Some ideas I have so far:

Deluxe Shares
Elite Shares
Privilege Shares
Member Shares

Do you like any of those names?

Do you have any other idea?

Deluxe and Elite are the

Deluxe and Elite are the strongest, IMO.

Depending on the tone of the game, you might ham it up a bit to with things like:

Super Shares
Double-Action Shares
Lion Shares

That's a good one but it could be confusing because I think premium already has a specific meaning relating to shares.

I tried to search about it and I think they are premium accounts, but not shares.

Still, the word "premium" does not imply anything to the rules regarding their behavior. "Equity" shares does imply something.

Yup, it's not a type of share. But it has a meaning relating to shares. I don't know whether that makes it a good idea or a bad one for you. Perhaps bad. Equity Shares certainly exist. Maybe that makes it good.

My feeling is that it'll be important for these things to sound exciting to the financial layman - and not confusing to the financial expert. I'm imagining myself flicking through the rulebook and seeing these words...

I am not looking in making a realistic stock market game. I want something simple and accessible for everybody.

That's why I'd strongly advise using colourful, eye (ear)-catching names for the shares. :)

"Premium" is a word I see in many services (especially online ones) unless I am wrong.

This is why I like the keyword, because it reminded me of this. For example, Neopets has Premium memberships that gives you additional features for a fee.

Cool. It's certainly better than 'Equity' which is the one I was really hoping to dissuade you from.
