For anyone looking to create their own custom version of a Resource Tracker that allows up to SIX (6) different resources to be tracked, have a look at this URL/Link:

https://www.thegamecrafter.com/design-assets/professional-resource-tracker

I'm its designer and if you have any question, feel free to PM-me about it. This is the third order and this last version was to ensure that the bleed was correct. A couple TGC Members said that it would be "disappointing" if they purchased a template without any bleed (especially if it is to be used for customization).

So I re-worked a 3rd version that required me to purchase a copy to ensure that the bleed was accurate. And it was...

It's a way of allowing a quick customization or just something that you can TRY and see if you like the concept. This allows people to BUY or just to be inspired by the IDEAS in the TGC Shop!

A kudos to "colink" who suggested that I make it available from the TGC Shop...! Again to inspire and allow people quick customization of the Resource Tracker.

Cheers all and Enjoy!

No problemo

I think that even IF I offer this "Resource Tracker" in my OWN Game... Just having it in the "Design Assets" gives it more VISIBILITY. So people can get inspired to create THEIR OWN "Resource Tracker" which is tailor-made so-to-speak! But if someone just wants to do some quick Photoshop editing and produce a PNG or JPG image file, he/she can definitely use the attached SVG (Cut-File) and produce a great looking CUSTOM "Tracker" with very little help and time.

Again having it in the "Design Assets" (and it's been seen by over 100 people already) makes the CONCEPT visible to all. I like that. If my designing can help someone else solve one of their OWN problems... Well this "Resource Tracker" might do the trick.

Cheers!

Cosmic Spores Score Tracking

This six-item resource tracker seems tailor-made for my recent prototype, Cosmic Spores. I will look into this as a tool to invest in, should my reworking of the scoring system go anywhere.

Thanks for providing this, and sharing the news about it, quest. :)

What you need to know... To be an informed buyer

Is that it took me 3 purchases to get the Cut File (SVG) be 100% accurate for the Tracker. The other important thing is that it is tailored to have the MAXIMUM amount of resources (6 to be precise) and allows for the clips to easily slide while being at maximum. Meaning you can't ADD more Tracks/resources even if you liked, this version is the MOST you can accomplish using this technique.

The other thing is that there is a Photoshop File (.PSD) you can EDIT and make it to suit your OWN "resources". That too is very helpful ... Because it just means that it's quicker to get your own tracker "up-and-done" for playtesting purposes.

So a lot of the customization and cut-lines is made easier with the template too... PLUS you get the Photoshop File... Making your own Tracker that much easier to design and personalize. Cheers!

Note #1: The Clips (whichever colors you choose) are NOT included with the "Resource Tracker" (when you build it in the TGC shop). This is just an FYI... This way you can choose which are the most appropriate colors for YOUR game! Just a quick FYI.

What is included is everything you need to DESIGN the "Professional Resource Tracker". If you have any issues (if and when you buy this Asset, you can PM-me for help if you need any)... You may contact me. But to be real honest... It's pretty simple "as-is".

Version 6.0 has full bleed

Just wanted to mention that Version 6.0 has FULL BLEED around the Tracker itself. I had to make the small sacrifice of using some of the Top Allowance with the Bottom to create the "bleed area". So the "bleed" is a bit thin (1/16th Inch) but enough to handle most drift. And TBH I haven't seen much drift in anything that I've gotten printed at TGC "lately".

I think they have "perfected" their Process... Because maybe 5 years or so, there could be "noticeable" drift but now with the laser-ing and the recommended bleed areas... They put out pretty impressive low-drift content. I know there are bleed areas "in-case"... But the overall quality at TGC is "excellent"!

Anyhow just wanted to share that fact with you all (full bleed).
