Just over two weeks left

Just a note here to let folks know that there is just over two weeks remaining before the submission deadline - the contest began on July 7th and submissions are due by noon on Aug 1st. As of today, there are 11 entries. I would be very interested to see critiques of the entries after the play-testing/voting window has closed on Aug 22nd. Cheers!

The BGG contest ended on

The BGG contest ended on Saturday. All told, there were 29 official entries made to the contest. The prize pool is standing at 200GG. There will be two rounds of voting. The first round of voting, to choose 5 finalists, will begin on Saturday, August 15th. The second round, to choose the winners, will begin on Aug. 22nd and end on Aug. 29th.

I've compiled all of the official entries into a single PDF document. It has already been posted to the file section of the Traditional Card Games entry on BGG but an updated version is making its way through moderation again (fixed some minor things, plus some math in one of the entries).

For BGDF members who entered the competition. If you would like to have people in this forum provide feedback on your design, please post a note to this thread requesting public or private feedback. Personally, I prefer to give people private feedback. If you would like to receive feedback on your design from me, please send me a geekmail at BGG. I've read all of the entries several times and I'm planning to play as many of them as I can before the voting begins. If you've asked me for feedback, your games will be put higher on my list of games "to get played". I cannot guarantee when or if your game will get played, but I will try.

Cheers,
Sean

There is now one week
