Ever felt like someone’s just blown your brains out?

My mate in America finally managed to get a group together to try out a blind test of BREAD & CIRCUSES, and let’s just say that it did not go well.

Well, that could have gone better. It could have gone much, much worse too.
It’s Tuesday morning, and having spent a sleepless Sunday night downheartedly worrying about everything I’d done wrong, I collated the questionnaires compiled by my playtesters and realised that things weren’t quite as bad as I’d been thinking.

Whew! It’s done!
For the last 3 weeks I have been getting 4 of my best games ready for playtesting. I have spent the last 5 days solidly printing out and laminating endless sheets of coloured card, then cutting out the bits and pieces I have so carefully crafted on them. Over 300 cards: more than 450 individual pieces – and that doesn’t even include the gameboards and cheat-sheets.

I really hope it’s worth it.
