Covering small boxes: 2010 version

This is the press that I have prepared for the lids of small boxes:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/SCATOLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_s...

To center the cover on the box I used the thickness of cardboard:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/SCATOLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_s...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/SCATOLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_s...

I fixed half box to the cover with paper tape:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/SCATOLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_s...

I remove the other half side of paper remained free that protects the adhesive side of the coating:

The same with the other side:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/SCATOLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_s...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/SCATOLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_s...

I cut the corners diagonally:

Bases player from 1999 to 2010

Well, in 1999, the only thing that came to mind was to use the basics of polystyrene of boardgame "Samurai Swords":
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MU1999/MedioEvo_Universalis_19...

I changed the graphics of the panel by summarizing tables for a few rules:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MU1999/MedioEvo_Universalis_19...

And this was the result:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MU1999/MedioEvo_Universalis_19...

More info: http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=67&start=2...

---------------

In 2009 I designed the wooden bases that a carpenter would build:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/BASI/MedioEvo_Universalis_base...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/BASI/MedioEvo_Universalis_base...

Meanwhile, the player panel had changed considerably and had been added a lot of information as well as the schema of of the game turn:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/TABELLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_p...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/TABELLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_p...

And this was the result:

In 2010 I designed the new wooden bases that a carpenter would build:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/BASI/MedioEvo_Universalis_base...

A bit of spray paint:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/BASI/MedioEvo_Universalis_base...

Meanwhile, the player panel had changed again, more info but more clear and clean:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/REGOLAMENTO/MedioEvo_Universal...

On the outer side of the panel there is the coat of arms of the Kingdom, the symbol of his religion and background matches the color on the map.
I used 3 plates laminated to create the player panel, double-sided tape:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/BASI/MedioEvo_Universalis_pann...

Attached graphics:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/BASI/MedioEvo_Universalis_pann...

Then I engraved with cutter, but the coating OUTSIDE ONLY!

And this was the result:

The miniatures of army

Until 2007 I used the little tanks of RisiKo; then, when I decided to show the prototype to the public, I was forced to change it with something else.
During a convention I was advised to use the miniatures scale 1:72. I began to see some catalog of miniatures and I took advice from an online store to choose what to buy.
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MINIATURE/MedioEvo_Universalis...

I thought about it for a few weeks considering all the problems, the quantity and the cost to buy them.
In the end I chose the boxes of Italeri and Zvezda because, according to me, they had a better quality.
I joined several boxes to create every single army, in this photo you can see the armies in every single box and the French army lined up on the ground:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MINIATURE/MedioEvo_Universalis...

Instead of color each army of one color, I decided to color them with a more realistic technique ... even if the costs are increased tenfold:

The miniatures of ships

Even for the thumbnails of the ships I've done a thorough search and I evaluated all the problems and the solutions ... first of all I made various miniatures of various shapes, sizes, materials, and I designed a wooden little base to support ships:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MINIATURE/MedioEvo_Universalis...

Here, an intermediate test assembly:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MINIATURE/MedioEvo_Universalis...

I prepared the flags:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MINIATURE/MedioEvo_Universalis...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MINIATURE/MedioEvo_Universalis...

And the sails:

A carpenter made wooden little bases, we have it sandpapered and colorful:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MINIATURE/MedioEvo_Universalis...

I filled the ships with DAS:

I prepared the sails on mainmasts:

SWORDS for random turns

I loved the mechanics of random turns, used for example in Samurai Swords (Shogun), so I bought 10 medieval paper knife and I have silkscreened with Roman numerals:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MINIATURE/MedioEvo_Universalis...

The players each turn they draw a sword ... I added the open auction to win the first swords (the number of swords available at auction depends on the number of players, for example, for 5 players is only the first sword, for 9-10 players are available the first 3 swords).

THE TRADE: money

At "PISA GIOCA 2010" I knew Rhodry that she is helping me with some drawings of the game ... After the ANGEL (for more information on this click here: http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1195&p=226...), I asked her to help me with coins ... I thought using the florin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florin) as the currency exchange in the game because in the second half of the thirteenth century. it was widely used.

Here the original florin:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/cb/Fiorino_1340.jpg

Here are some initial drafts and some steps of work:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MINIATURE/MedioEvo_Universalis...

And here a first draft of the final idea of coins:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MINIATURE/MedioEvo_Universalis...

The first two coins are respectively the white "cross" and "head" ... I put the value on the cross... being forced to manage exorbitant amount of money I can't use the money system of that historical period:

1 gold florin = 20 "popolino" (big silver florin) = 40 "soldi"; also there was a little florin = 1/12 "soldo".

Instead of the original texts on the "cross" I have replaced the "FLORENTIA" with the value (1-5-10-50-100-500-1000) and on "head" I have replaced "S. IOHANNES B." " with the name of the game (MEDIO EVO UNIVERSALIS). The coins will also be different colors to differentiate the materials:

value 1 = copper
value 5-10 = iron
value 50-100 = silver
value 500-1000 = gold

I think they will be the same size if I will make the metal coins because I must pay for every different dimension of mold... 4 different dimensions + 7 different "cross" = 11 different molds.
If they have the same size I must pay only 1 "head" + 7 "cross".
Some examples:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MINIATURE/MedioEvo_Universalis...

If I will make the plastic or cardboard coins I will surely make 4 different dimensions.
Current coins:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/CONVENTION/MedioEvo_Universali...

Here below tests about new money for this prototype:

1° test
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MINIATURE/MedioEvo_Universalis...

2° test
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MINIATURE/MedioEvo_Universalis...

... and even coins are finished ... Despite some hitches, now I have coins PERFECTLY EQUAL to Rhodry's draw:

THE TRADE: historical research and calculations

Well, in 1999 I did a very quick historical research, looking some commercial maps of that period:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/TABELLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_1...

http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/TABELLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_1...

In 2011 I decided to delve into the historical research relating to trade, I asked for help in other forums and a friend graduated in medieval history: http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=86&start=...

Then, both in 1999 and in 2011 I calculated all distances as the crow flies between different cities, this is the example of 1999: http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/TABELLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_1...

In 1999, I did not use any modifier of any kind, both in distance...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/TABELLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_c...

... and in prices
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/TABELLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_c...

To make the trading system more complex and varied in 2011 I put a lot of variables, both in the table of distances...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/TABELLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_d...

... and in the table of price calculations:

The system with 2 columns for each commodity (column 1 for the lowest purchase price and 1 column to the sales price) is not liked during the playtest ... too hard, too demanding, too much of everything ...
Too bad, because with my friends, even 13 years, I have never had any problems since 1999.
So I was forced to simplify it and to facilitate new players, I added some useful information at the bottom of the table.

CARDS and DECKS: IMPERIAL deck

I have already described the creation of the cards in 1999, now I will describe the work done in 2010 to completely redo the cards and decks.

I fixed the back of the cards, I lightened the background image, but if the game was the product I will definitely change it because it's not mine:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/CARTE/MedioEvo_Universalis_CAR...

Then I searched for a designer that repaint the images of the EMPIRE and TECHNOLOGY decks... it took me 1 year to find it, it was not easy to find someone that met my needs completely, for istance once asked me an exorbitant amount: 12,000 €!

Here are some examples of the designers that I had found:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/CARTE/MedioEvo_Universalis_dis...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/CARTE/MedioEvo_Universalis_dis...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/CARTE/MedioEvo_Universalis_CAR...

Meanwhile, I was studying the new combo system and the introduction of new cards:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/TABELLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_T...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/TABELLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_T...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/TABELLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_T...

I chose the latter because I think it was much better than everyone else.

This is an example of how we have worked for me and illustrator each card... this is the Leader:

First of all I soured a textual description of my idea and main characteristics, enclosing some sample image:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/CARTE/MedioEvo_Universalis_CAR...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/CARTE/MedioEvo_Universalis_CAR...

The illustrator was preparing a sketch:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/CARTE/MedioEvo_Universalis_CAR...

If I liked the idea, the illustrator finished drawing:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/CARTE/MedioEvo_Universalis_CAR...

If all went well, then colored by the illustrator and finished the drawing:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/CARTE/MedioEvo_Universalis_CAR...

Other examples:

With the first technological deck I used the images of the boardgame Civilization and changing the meaning:

Then I decided to review the entire system of technological advancement doing historical research and combining it with combos or gameplay mechanics:

Meanwhile, the same designer who made me the images for the imperial deck has prepared me new drawings of technologies:

Some details:

In 2007 I decide to add aim deck to have a mechanical more to get victory points.

After an initial evaluation study...

I create 3 different aims for each Kingdom playing:

And this is the 2012 version:

Not required to follow the aim card, it's just another way to get the points victory.

CARDS and DECKS: RANDOM EVENTS deck

I wanted to make the games more lively with some event, either positive or negative, which hit areas of land and sea that divide the map.
I was inspired by the Monopoly cards (unexpected and probability), but also to the events deck of Marco Polo (Clementoni).

This is the evolution from '80 (left) to 2010 (right):
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/CARTE/MedioEvo_Universalis_evo...

In the last version I decide to introduce many combo with IMPERIAL and TEHCNOLOGY decks, a very good idea very interesting:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/CARTE/MedioEvo_Universalis_2CA...

I'm studying a new version of this RANDOM EVENTS deck, a historical version with all the famous people of that time instead of invented things: William Wallace, Marco Polo, Charles of Anjou, King Louis IX, and so on... but I need a historical version with all the famous people of that time: William Wallace, Marco Polo, Charles of Anjou, King Louis IX, but I need a lot of time to complete this version ...
First of all, I have collected a lot of information about the second half of the XIII cen: births, deaths, Kingdoms, celebrities, special events, weapons, tactics of siege, battles, castles, inventions, trade, religion, education, medicine, science, ships , navigation, and I ordered everything in this section of my forum: http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=9

I have not finished this phase, the next phase will be to extrapolate the information needed to create approximately 100 cards ... then I will choose the 40-50 most beautiful cards, I will apply the combo and I'll finish the new deck.

CARDS and DECKS: CALAMITIES deck

Well, the idea of calamities was there from the beginning of the '80.
25 years ago I used attack cards and defense cards.
Then I turned the attack cards in calamities and defense cards in technologies.

The purpose of the calamities is similar to the event cards, create random events to make matches more lively. The calamities, however, are much more rare and dangerous of random events.
Some technological cards can reduce the effects of calamities, others may even nullify the effect.

This is the evolution of the calamities deck, from '80 (left column), 1999 (second column), 2008 (third column), to 2010 (right column):

http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/CARTE/MedioEvo_Universalis_evo...

http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/CARTE/MedioEvo_Universalis_evo...

Sorry, but the images of the cards are not mine, for now I'm using images from other games, it should not be a problem as long as it is a prototype.

The treasure deck was the last created.
I consider it an optional deck, but I always use it in games with my friends.
Whenever a barbarian general was killed, players could take possession of his spoil of war composed of mercenaries, money and commodities.

At first I used the card "Pirate's Cove" to test the mechanics, then I created my cards:

LIST OF COMPONENTS

The prototype created handcrafted in the deluxe version is one thing, but the commercial version would not have this issue and would not be used noble materials such as wood and metal.
I think a medium-high level as the games of the Fantasy Flight Games, the armies of one color and to indicate the quantities or levels of technological evolution of buildings and transportation, I was thinking about plastic discs (TOKENS in the list below) like Axis & Allies.

So, this is the list of components (maybe we can still remove a little something?) for the commercial version 3-5 Players: http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2168#p4453

1 MAP OF THE GAME
63 MEANS OF TRANSPORT
15 MEANS OF SIEGE
12 CATHEDRAL / MOSQUES
22 CIVIL BUILDINGS
80 MILITARY BUILDINGS
175 ARMY OF PLAYERS
45 OF ARMED barbaric
22 DICE
96 GOODS
300 COINS
150 TOKENS
6 DECKS OF CARDS (EMPIRE, TECHNOLOGY, EVENTS, CALAMITY, TREASURE, TARGET)

This is a list of ways to gain or lose honor points:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/TABELLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_t...

The last 3 lines are calculated at the end of the game, the others are updated while you play.

LONG GAMES?

As I explained previously, there are various ways to win, ways to gain or lose honor points (VPs) and then you can choose to play with a timer or with a number of honor points to reach or with a certain number of shifts.

More matches are longer and become interesting because the players take on a greater number of technologies and therefore increase the combinations with other cards and the components of the game.
Even diplomacy becomes interesting because you took the time to implement strategies of betrayal, revenge, and more.

I had the great fortune to have a group of friends with whom I have been playing for years, I repeat for years, this game ... but not 3 or 4 friends ... 10 friends ... we played for a few years on the full version with 10 players! ahahahaha

So I decided to create the sheet for saving games ... we did not need it because we had the place to leave it all there until the following week.

This is the prototype sheet:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/TABELLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_S...

And this is the final version:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/TABELLE/MedioEvo_Universalis_S...

Compiled sample:

Several levels of difficulty

Well, I designed this game so that you can play even with fewer rules, fewer components and less combo ... instead of being a full management game, it would become a wargame.

I give you two examples to show the difference between the light version and the standard version:

- 1
Imperial deck in light version:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/COMMERCIALE/MedioEvo_Universal...

Imperial deck in standard version:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/COMMERCIALE/MedioEvo_Universal...

- 2
Panel player in light version:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/COMMERCIALE/MedioEvo_Universal...

Panel player in standard version:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/COMMERCIALE/MedioEvo_Universal...

As you can see, there are no references to the TRADE, the TECHNOLOGIES and the CALAMITIES, but the game still works as a wargame (land and naval battles, fortifications, siege, taxes, random events, barbarians).

I do some more examples of the light version and the standard version...

STANDARD VERSION:

- Taxes: taxes depend on the number of territories possessed, more territory = more taxes, but the taxes can be implemented playing GABELLIERE (deck empire) but you can not use it if you do not have MATHEMATICS (deck technologies), in addition, greater the number of CATHEDRALS (pieces on the map) on your territories, greater the "control" that the church and the state have on them and therefore greater will be the taxes that the GABELLIERE can get.
The CATHEDRALS can be built at stratospheric prices (trade) or "stolen" to other players using the CARDINAL (deck empire), the POPE (deck empire) is immune to the CARDINALS, so Christian players will try to become the POPE and no-Christian players attempt to kill POPE.
There are limits to the number of CATHEDRALS that can physically be in the Realms, depending on their size, players who want to have more CATHEDRALS will have to win more Kingdoms (combat).

- Army: Each player recruits a number of armies according to the Kingdoms completely in his possession (and thus stable), but may purchase additional armies, paying florins (trade), with the MERCENARY (deck empire), which in turn can be implemented by FORGING and ACTIVITY 'BANK (technology cards) or implement INVESTITURE and FEUDALISM (always technology cards).
Rarely it happens that defeating a GENERAL BARBARIAN (pieces on the map) will be able to recruit some "defector" of the defeated faction.

- Means of transport: all means of transport are related to the technological level of the player, there are 3 levels of technology and then 3 levels for quantity and quality about means of transport. The technological level of the player is given by the number of known technologies, it is the player to choose which to develop or not ... up to 24 out of 38 in all, with steps of 7-8-9 technology we move to a higher level of technology. The technologies cost florins, trading is the fastest way to earn florins, means of transport trade a greater number of goods and farther each time they level up.
There are technologies such as WEAVING, ASTRONOMY, CARTOGRAPHY, ROADS that increase the distance traveled means of transport.
So I have to trade, to earn florins to buy technologies, to move up the technological level, to trade away more and more goods, to earn more money ... etc etc..
Same reasoning for warships, at a higher level are stronger in combat and can carry more armies.

- Fortifications: they allow to defend themselves and increase the number of armies that can hold territories. There are additional technology card, BREEDING (for the hills), HUNTING (in the woods) and AGRICULTURE CROP ROTATION (for plain) that increase the capacity of the population in the territories. Cities can achieve 3 levels of fortification, but to do so they must first climb of the technological level ... the 3 levels with 24 cards technology described above.

- Fights: battles are resolved with the roll of a dice both by the attacker that the defender ... depending on the bonus or malus, players will throw dice at 4-6-8-10 faces (eg, assault of a fortification, the attacker takes a penalty ... if he waits and declares the siege, when the walls fall, the penalty vanishes). There are also modifiers both in attack and in defense caused by some cards empire: CONDOTTIERO, CROSSBOW, TEMPLAR, RELIC, HEROIN, GENIUS, these modifiers may increase if, for example, combined with the GENIUS there is ENGINEERING (tecnological card), CONDOTTIERO with TACTIC (tecnological card) etc etc ...

LIGHT VERSION:

- Taxes: taxes depend on the number of territories possessed, more territory = more taxes, but the taxes can be implemented playing GABELLIERE (deck empire), in addition, greater the number of CATHEDRALS (pieces on the map) on your territories, greater the "control" that the church and the state have on them and therefore greater will be the taxes that the GABELLIERE can get.

3D MAP: the idea

Well, in the summer of 2008 I had already had the idea to create a 3D map, but after a few attempts, I abandoned the project.
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MAPPA/MedioEvo_Universalis_Ing...

In November of 2011 I took the idea and started working on it seriously.
I decided to do the tests with England, I drew the 3 levels of land (PLAIN, HILL and MOUNTAIN) that my assistant will prepare with plywood 3 mm. of thickness.
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MAPPA/MedioEvo_Universalis_Ing...

Here are the single pieces.

3D MAP: decide the size

One of the problems of the 3D map was to have all the territories with a minimum size in order to support the miniatures, even on the mountain (the highest level).
I did a series of tests simulating various situations offset between one level and another, and tilt of the individual levels:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MAPPA/MedioEvo_Universalis_MAP...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MAPPA/MedioEvo_Universalis_MAP...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MAPPA/MedioEvo_Universalis_MAP...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MAPPA/MedioEvo_Universalis_MAP...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MAPPA/MedioEvo_Universalis_MAP...

After a series of evaluations, I decided the best solution, I set the size of mountain territories:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MAPPA/MedioEvo_Universalis_Ing...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MAPPA/MedioEvo_Universalis_Ing...

And as a result I came out of the final size of the suit map (rounded to the dimension of my table)1845x1400 mm:

Hello everyone, sorry for the

Hello everyone, sorry for the long absence, I update you on the news:

Thanks to the suggestions of some members of the official forum, I created a new section "Optional Rules and version HARD" where I shifted a series of rules and components that was part of the game BASE, without loss of mechanical and beauty of the game itself: http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=40&sid=8c1932c...
This section is so full of new ideas for playtest, the Maritime Republics, new cards EMPIRE and TECHNOLOGY and more.

This summer I have done a few games evening / night (all finished except 1) durations 6 to 7 hours, with new players that have allowed me to fixare further rules and think of some new ... some of these rules have already become official others are in the process of playtesting and some are already finished in the new section "Optional Rules and version HARD": http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=22

Conquer, Looting, Destroy: http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=9280

Removed the deck of AIMS from the BASIC box and replaced with a very simple mechanics, so it reduces the components for the production and lightens Reles: http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=93&p=1469...

Papacy, excommunication, tithes, RE-ELECTION, CRUSADES, etc ... collecting notes and rules HARD version to better define this aspect of the game. The set BASE for 3-5 players there is no provision of these rules if 10 extra armies to Rome for the Christian player who is chosen at random at the start of the match. The HARD rules for the Pope starting with the first expansion of the map for 6-7 players (French and Hafsids): http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=9257&p=14...

I am developing the new version of the map, this time the final one, with the latest fixes about Kingdoms, borders and heraldry: http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=729&start=...

The 3D map remained on standby for now, I still have to decide on something that would lead me on 2 different paths for the realization of some details.

While waiting for the

While waiting for the publisher to give me a response ... it is time to begin to color the 3D map.
First of all, I chose the 10 colors to match the 10-player Kingdoms, about French I'm a little undecided between two shades of blue, while I think about it a little longer.
Here are the pairings and all other colors available:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MAPPA/MedioEvo_Universalis_MAP...

First coat of green on the Kingdom of the Mamluks ... although some colors will be a little too bright, I decided to use them as they are in the original tube to facilitate me maintenance of the map in the future. I started with the reign of the Mamluks because it is the largest on the map and I realize if only one tube of paint just for 2 coats ... in theory it seems ...
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MAPPA/MedioEvo_Universalis_MAP...

2nd coat of color to the reign of the Mamluks over, 1st coat the Sultanate of Hafsids:
http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/images/MAPPA/MedioEvo_Universalis_MAP...

I placed all the colors matching them to the Kingdoms, is not yet a final choice, as I will carry out any changes.

3D map

I went back to work on the 3D map because I have some free time ...

Here the combination of all the colors of the various Kingdoms: http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2063&p=161...

Now I'm starting to look at trees, snow-covered fir trees and palms to order, I thought of using those with the stand or those to be inserted into a small hole (I would do with a nail on the map); Capochino on his forum suggested me use magnets to hook / unhook them from the map, I found different solutions on this, from the magnetized sheets to the magnets thin: http://www.medioevouniversalis.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2063&p=161...
Does anyone have any other ideas?

Kingdoms coloration practically over, are missing only two small:

Heraldry on 3D map

61 Kingdoms, should be quite faithful to reality even if, for example, the heraldry of the Russian principalities at that time was not well defined ... the same for a couple of Islamic kingdoms of north west Africa.
