It's me ShuffleJones. I love designing games and always have. I finally came up with one I like enough to see it experienced by other people.

I'm prototyping now. It's a game about SPIES. What a theme. ESPIONAGE.

Can anyone direct me to a forum/list detailing publishers taking outside submissions? I'm working on a submission letter that could wrastle a Gorilla. Sam, it looks like you're the one doing all of the directing. Please direct me. I have a game about spies. SPIES, Sam. It's a card game.

Heya shuffle! Is that me you

Heya shuffle!

Is that me you are referring to? if so - cool! :D

Ok so its a card game about spies. Seems cool. Unfortunately we don't have a thread around here anywhere that would list boardgame publishers and their emails but I think BGG might somewhere.

The thing is that each publisher is a private company. There is not a "generic mass email form" that you can just put your game details on and auto send it to hundereds of publishers - some have very strict guidelines of submissions - some don't take submission at all!

It all depends on how your game fits in with their ideas - from my understanding, it's quite hard to get a publisher to actually accept your work.

BUT either way, its a game about ... spies you say? :O SPIES!?

Appreciating

Perfect link. That's exactly what I was hunting. If anybody finds anything similar on BGG, please let me know.

And yes, I'm learning that companies are usually in the market for a certain type of game. I'm excited to cater my gorilla-letter to their preferences.

Thanks!

Also have a go at "Indy

Also have a go at "Indy Boards and Cards" in bgg - he's a user hiding somewhere.

Be nice to him and tell 'em Sam sent you - and you will get a 10% discount voucher at the local red lobster ¬_¬

Really? Wow.

Nothing like prototyping and cheese biscuits. Except maybe protobiscuits and cheesetyping.
