Quite Challenging

I've tried to come up with something, but to no avail.

To try to make interesting decisions in to crop rotation seems pretty difficult to me.

I'm looking forward to what people come up with.

Best of luck,

I'm guessing bidding mechanics will be quite popular in this one. Nothing from me this time though - too much going on at work and home this month (not that I'll be missed though - Sniff! Sniff!).

I will give the entries a once over though.

I was close to giving up, but in the end I was able to find something that might be at least reasonable. No threaten to Lime's reign of terror, though. ;-)
And I still have to finish writing up my entry, so I shouldn't be posting here. But I'm a multitasking addict.

It's interesting hearing peoples predictions on what the entries may consist of. I am kicking myself about something I forgot to do, but no worries... I may or may not have included bidding mechanics...

Doesn't sound like there is as much interest in this one as last months though, which could be good or bad, hopefully there will be more of a variety...

I'm now putting something together, but I don't know if it's gonna look like something that can be submitted in a few hours, so I might not enter...

Ah, does that mean your entry is a Monster, and you won't be able to finish it, or is it so flash that no one would believe you could have designed something so wonderful in only two hours? ;)

It's very flash in my head, but it needs to be feshed out and I don't think I'll finish it in time...

I think straight-up crop rotation would be tricky to include, since there's not much decision-making involved there. Kudos who those do manage it.

Bryk did soften the requirement some by saying that any change in land use, even non-use, was okay.

I think I won't make it.

Shameful, I know. Blame Zaiga, designing the visuals for his Gheos game has been eating up every spare second that I have. (Gheos is looking effing wicked, by the way.. can't wait to actually play the damn thing.. what a great game design...)

I've got an excellent crop-rotation mechanism (so good that some of you also probably thought of it) and a cool theme, (had to ditch marijuana grow-ops, THANKS yogurt), but I just can't tie them in to the area-control requirement so that it all makes sense.

Bah.

2 more hours to possibly get it in.

You know, Seo, you'd finish a lot faster if you didn't always make your entries so pretty...

Sadly, I'm slammed at work, so my entry will remain trapped in my head (such a tiny space...). Chances are I won't be able to review this month, either. Sorry, folks.

Good luck to all!

K.

It is good to take the small pleasures right?

I like the build up before the release of the new crop of entries. I wanna see lots of entries!

Good luck everyone.

Indeed, I should have started entering months ago - tis a nice wee thrill seeing what people come up with, even if they are much better than my own :/

I couldn't either... still, in the hopes of not being disqualified, I entered.

I'm not encouraging you to submit a too long entry, though... (or am I? ...in the knowledge that you will certainly be disqualified...)

To all voters:
Feel free to disqualify me (and Ska_baron??) for having too long entries...

Shaved it down to 799. =)
However, please feel free to disqualify me for a number of other reasons (most likely my gratuitous profanity in my entry)!

This is exciting!

Hmmm, interesting. I had to pad my entry to get it past 50 words.

Well, I do have room for one more word... let me know your favorite and I'll add it on in. I'm not above pandering to a crowd.
