I have almost final artwork for the board, have another friend working on some images, and might be using a board for the base instead of tile (for cost restriction, and ease of set up).
Still looking into box shape/artwork, and the material/ image fixing method for the double sided hex tiles.
Play testing continues, with a wooden board instead of cardboard. So far feedback continues to be positive, some people are wanting the game to become more complex, adding more luck into it. As it is Abstract Strategy I am tempted, but like the overall simplicity.
In short, getting closer, still have a ways to go. As a side note, I highly recommend MikeDrys for CAD skills, he is working on a couple custom pieces (via Shapeways.com) , and am very pleased with his enthusiasm and communication throughout the process.
