I have spent the time going through many of the Game Sets to make sure all the cards are there. And I have also taken the time to buy and use plastic sleeves on the game sets that I plan to have "play sessions" with.
Basically I will be visiting homes of friends and family to demo the game in its present version. Some of these people were early playtesters and have not seen how the game has matured through the stages of blind playtesting.
I have three (3) play sessions and two (2) have already confirmed that they want to try the game. Which is pretty cool, since without these people, I would have nobody to show the game to!
Some of them are the target players that will get copies of the game, others are gifts that I need to "re-teach" the game in its simplified version (streamlined) so that they can coach and explain how the game is played to younger gamers.
It's all cool - it allows people to connect and share an experience together - and that's really what I want my game to be about!
