Which theme?

I am working a new game and have the mechanics done (well mostly done). It is currently themed as a Zombie game. I really did not want to make a Zombie game but it just worked really well with the mechanics.

I have been trying to think of an alternative theme and came up with life struggling to evolve for the first time on an alien planet. This theme is not a perfect match for the mechanic but I think I can modify stuff so it will work.

What does everyone think? Stick with the Zombies theme which there are hundreds of games of already or try to make the alien life-form theme work?

Thanks in advance,
Donald

PYL dice game

The game is a PYL dice game with added dice 'challenges' if specific dice combos are rolled. The game supports 3 modes of play... Solo, Competitive or Co-Op.

Additional Theme Options

After briefly explaining your mechanics, here are some additional themes to try:

circus acrobatics
snowboarding (or some other extreme sport)
drag racing
fuel/oil drilling
deep-sea fishing
wilderness survival
first aid/EMT/emergency room
alien abductions (kinda like Martian Dice, though...)
parasites/diseases
space shuttle re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere

There are a few to think about. Good luck to you, Donald!

Thanks for the suggestions

Those are all great suggestions. I am going to have to play with several of them to see which will mesh best with the game mechanics.
