I just got done with my first playtesting and it was amazing. Found some cool mechanics that I hadn't thought of ... need to balance some thing and change a few others ... Also have to work on a few rules I've overlooked... all in all it was a great experience!

It's amazing to make something that others can play ... they also loved the game as it is so score one for me!!!! Thanks to the people who helped me with advice ... now to fix things for the next group and find people for 1000 more hour of playtesting lol

O and the game lasted 3 hours lol ... and no one even realized it haha

Just remember, there's no such thing as too much testing. It's great to hear when people love your game, but you'll get to a point where all you're looking for is criticisms of your game just to make your game better.

For me, my game just didn't feel right early on. Even though it was a great game, people loved it, and I got positive reviews, I still play tested the game trying to find that missing link. When I figured it out, I knew I was done.

You almost have to be your own worst critic, but in the end it will be better all around. Glad to hear it's off to a great start!
