Game parts from Europe?

Hi,

I was searching online for game parts that I could use for prototyping. The Game Crafter for example has a good selection of different parts, but its located in the USA, as were most other shops I could find, and I am worried that the shipping costs from USA to Finland would be too high. Does anyone know good European dealers that I could use?

Hey, I am also from Finland and so far the only place I have found is Spielmaterial in Germany. The shipping costs are somewhere around 9-12 euros for smaller shipments.

I have also been thinking about contacting The Game Crafter for a quote on their shipping costs outside the US. Not sure if some taxes are added when ordering games or gaming components from the US.

taxes

I have never had taxes added to game orders from the US... except when the package is caught in customs (at least 50 % of the time :( ).

Have ordered from Spielmaterial twice and had no problems with them. Would be nice to see more new stuff on their site though.

We ship to Europe all the

We ship to Europe all the time. We simply pass along whatever shipping costs there are to you. Any taxes you incur from customs would be separate.

As long as you keep your order under 36 ounces (roughly 1kg) then you'll be able to ship first class. First class is relatively slow (15+ days to Europe), but it's also pretty cheap (~$10).

In that case the shipping costs are not bad at all! thank you for the info (even though I wasn't the one who started this thread).

Thanks!

Thanks a lot Jukius! And also thanks to Game Crafter, it seems that the shipping costs really aren't that bad after all!
