I am not a sculptor, but would love to have someone sculpt a mini for me. Where do I go to find a sculptor. I am not talking HEROFORGE or anything like that. There would be specifications to the sculpt.
Thanks.
Mark

You can also look for 3D Modelers who can produce STL files for production. Because your "sculptor" may produce the model which is then required to be scanned in 3D to make a STL file for production.
All those "extra" steps may cost YOU EXTRA for production. Mold fees are like $600 USD. And the cost of the actual model (depending on the resin) vary between $0.10 and $0.50 USD.
Are you looking for JUST ONE (1) sample??? Because you can see how EXPENSIVE it can be for a PROTOTYPE to actually HAVE Miniatures (or sculpts) you may need to wait until production before you get exactly what you expect...
Finding a 3D Modeler may cost like $150 to $200 USD per model... I have no idea how much a "sculptor" may cost to produce a model... Maybe someone else has some information to share.
Cheers!
Check out these companies who have been following me on Facebook.
1: Magicraft
2: Nice Funny Games
3: Eastar Game Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (There miniatures are wooden meeples)
4: Matz Minis
The first 3 are in China
The 4th is in Pennsylvania U.S.A.
I have seen a few others that pop up from time to time on Facebook ads but I can not recall the names at the moment. So, there are those 3 to help you get started.
I'll ask Godot Games where they have purchased their custom miniatures and put up hopefully their information.
Jesse
Update:
It wasn't Godot games. That group has standees. I was thinking of another game. That game was GodTear. The game minis were printed by Steamforged games.

I am working with this guy, Rod, and he is great, I totally recommend him.
You can contact him https://www.facebook.com/rod.nonato.12 and say Antonio sends you :)
Some of his work is there, and some of what he did for our game is on https://www.instagram.com/kabulaboardgame/
Working with him I usually send sketches or full illustrations of what we want, but sometimes we had to work just giving a brief and it went great too, though with a sketch everything will be faster of course.
Hope this helps,
Antonio
