Hey All,

I was wondering if you could all help me figure out a reasonable price for my game. What should I charge my customers? I have created a card game with 177 cards, 4 pages of instructions and a box. How much would you pay?

Thanks
Dan

I would say that an MSRP of

I would say that an MSRP of $15-20, would be reasonable, $25 at most depending on the quality of the box.

However, rather than pick a price out of the air, I would take your manufacturing price and multiply times four or five. and then offer the game at the lowest price I could after considering manufacturing costs and distributor/retail markups.

$25-$35 is more the average

$25-$35 is more the average range for products currently on shelves with a similar description. But yes, your price should be based more on practicality and how many levels of distribution and shipping you'll have to go through.

One of the ideas that is used

One of the ideas that is used is:

5 times your manufacturing cost

so whatever you work that out as - times it be 5 and that could be argued as a good place to start your rrp valuation.
