I came here after watching some videos on dice tower on u tube. I have been collecting board games and miniature games on about 30 years now and think I have an idea for a winner! Going to be a good long trip and I hope it goes well :)

Well at least you know that an *idea* does not mean that you have a *game*. I often tell new members to post ideas about their "future game"... This allows other members to refer you to existing games (to be studied) and obviously makes it that your game is unique, not a copy. There is a lot of effort put into making a game and it takes time.
As for your *idea* begin a "winner", well that remains to be seen. My suggestion would be to discuss the idea and this will allow designers to chime in with mechanics. I don't know how far along your *winning idea* is ... so I will have to wait before being able to comment.
But sometimes we get people who think their game is better than "Doggie Doo" and that game has sold a lot (apparently)... I won't comment about the game (to me the concept is just wrong). I supplied the BGG link below to the game. The things people buy... Sheesh!

Ha! Yes it's just in the idea stages as of now. Today I'm going to start rough drafts of some of the components and will be a while before I post any of them, because people need to see something to make a comment otherwise none of us would be here right? But I will start putting some things up for everyone to see soon
