Hi folks,
Ben here, realizing that I've been around for a while but have never formally introduced myself!
I've run a blog about table top gaming (both RPGs and board/card games) since 2008. I've written my fair share of indie RPG products but over the past few years I've started shifting more towards board games.
I also produce a podcast called Indie Talks where I talk to game designers and publishers to try and find out what makes them and the industry tick.
I started designing board games a few years ago, and have self published a few card games through The Game Crafter and DriveThruCards. These games have met with moderate success and I'm now working on some more complicated and involved ideas, several of which are in the play testing phase right now.
I also own and moderate the largest board game community on Google+ (almost 8k members at the moment) and I've recently launched the Game School community in an attempt to get more folks both in and wanting to be in the industry together to talk shop.

I'm hoping to start attending a few game and game design meetups in the next year or two. For now, my kids are just a touch too young and keep me home or with them more often than not. :)
