Actually, the OOPS! counters fill a very important purpose. It prevents players just dumping cards to complete a specific hand.

--setting up poker hands in such a way that they CANNOT match the described poker hands on the tools.
--and the amount of cards in your poker card discard pile

My heart skipped a beat when I saw the headline of this thread. I read the first five scentences of daho123´s latest entry an stoped there.
This is another example of how the same ideas tend to crop up at different places at the same time. Our newly founded company Gigantoskop has been playtesting a card game with many of the same elements for a year now.
