Hey everyone!

We're just here to invite people to visit us at GameStorm this year. You can see the schedule and where to find us on our website Black Table Games.

This will be the last chance for people to see our updated games before we start our Kickstarter for Inglorious Space. We'd love to meet everyone, give out more information on both games, and teach you how to play! Or just play another game with you!

See you there!

Hey Black Table.

You likely know that BGDF is a global website. Can you provide some information or a link to Gamestorm to focus your post to people who might live in the area?

Some unasked for tips on posting: with a cut/paste feeling post, you'll likely find little engagement. Especially if people don't know your game already, or your company, or even what country you are based in.

You're free to advertise events, but perhaps a question on design, or prototyping to get elicit feedback? Like "We're running playtests - here are some tips we use when teaching lots of new people a game in a short amount of time. What tips do you [community] have?"

Best of luck with your demos!

No! Of course! I should have

No! Of course! I should have thought of that myself!

GameStorm is a game convention in Vancouver, WA. It runs from March 17th-20th.

We are indeed running playtests on multiple games (including the aforementioned Inglorious Space) and another of our games. We feel like we have a fairly good grasp of running playtests but we can ALWAYS use tips. Do you guys have tips on things you find helpful for getting people engaged so that they fill out feedback forms?

Also, neither of the people who will be at the con are extreme extroverts so do you have any tips on networking?

Thank you for your advice, richdurham. Truly, we appreciate your help.

your tips

Ah, okay that centres it a bit for those in the Northwestern US. :)

If you've got a good grasp of running playtests, perhaps you can share some of the things you've learned? There are many designers on here who struggle with getting good feedback, and could benefit from your experience!

Then they can fill in the gaps with any tips they have you aren't already doing.
