Hi I'm Bob
I am an aspiring designer with a Theater Design and Graphic Arts Background.
I have been into games since I first discovered Dungeons and Dragons when I was 8 ( 1983) Now I am a Work at Home Dad of 2 and I have started designing my own games for the last year and a half. I was laid up for nearly a year with a back injury and recovering from surgery so I had a lot of time to think write and create. My Wife tolerates my Gaming and Game Design and has even started helping me.
So far these are what I have in various stages of progress
Current projects:
Cooperative SuperHero Worker Placement Deduction Battle Game.
2 player Roller Derby Dice Game with Cards
Far Along Projects ( At Least to Beta Stage) may need Prototype:
2-4 player Roller Derby Card Game
3-6 Player Random Army Battle Card Game ( Random Genre Factions Like SmashUp)
1-6 Player Dungeon Delving game using Custom Dice with a Roll and Keep Mechanic.
Super Powers Card Battler with A Unique Play Mechanism for each Deck
Micro Card Game Involving Hand Manipulation with an Elemental Theme.
A Card Strategy Game inspired by Summoner Wars with an Alternate History Fantasy Theme
A Caper Game using Tiles loosely inspired by Leverage and Dungeon Run.
A movie game that works kind of like Chef Cuckoo.
A Race game using Role Selection and Bluffing.
A Parkour Racing Game using Cards and Dice.
Alpha Phase:
Climbing Game with Mage Theme and Powers.
Tile Deduction Game using Role Selection.
A Deck Builder Where you Each create a Hero and The Enemy that will be Battled after the Creation Phase.
Role Selection Game about running a Theater and putting on Productions.
Tile Placement City Building Game with Meeples that have different powers to affect the city and your opponents.
Barely Started but Still in my mind:
Resource Gathering and Delivery game using Dice as Goods.
Evil Genius Worker Placement and Mission Fulfillment game.
A Movie Maniac game where you Manipulate the Victims and try to take the best one.
If anyone wants to know more about any of these or just wants to offer advice I am always ready for discussion.
I also read many design blogs and articles and listen to several podcasts.
Bob
