Congratulations, David! Good to see that one getting out in the open. :-)
For everyone else: I was able to playtest an early prototype of Tahiti with David at the 2009 Protospiel in Ann Arbor. It was already a very cool game at that point, and I can't wait to see what's become of it since that time.
I'm in on the kickstarter ... only my second project I've backed (so far).

We are Less than a week into the campaign and have already passed the half way mark but pledging has slowed down quite a bit.
Honestly with a month to go I think we will make it however I don't have any idea what is normal for funding a project like this.

I definitely think you'll make at least the minimum fundraising goal.
Are you advertising on bgg, purplepawn, or anywhere else?
I'll shoot out another tweet here and there. Just keep updating here every so often or I'll forget.

I believe its very normal for funding to slow down in the middle. Your designer diary and upcoming reviews should give you a boost. It will really pick up at the end of the campaign. Kudos for offering the PnP for backers! Great idea.
The game looks great and I am glad I'm a backer!

It hasn't made the hotness at BGG or anything like that but it is getting a good responce from the few that have played the PnP version. I'm still waiting to see if we get any reviews based on the demos at Origins.
